Notes for Participants:
You need to download and install both R and R Studio BEFORE CLASS.
- For R go to https://cran.r-project.org/
- For step-by-step details, look at “Install R and R studio – It says windows but there is a choice of OS - Very useful detailed help for R – but 1 year old – have removed the next steps for rstudio.pdf”
- For RStudio go to rstudio.com
- The download link is in the upper righthand corner, scroll down until you see RStudio Desktop FREE, click on it. Then it shows DOWNLOAD RSTUDIO DESKTOP FOR WINDOWS, but scroll down further and you will see an array of operating systems (OS)

If possible, please print the file “Pre-prepared Graph Paper to Print”. It is only one sheet. If you are not able to print, please make a mock up on paper BEFORE CLASS.

Please note: course materials will be available for a period of 30 days after the course, after which they will be deleted. If you wish to download a copy of the documents, please do so during this time.
These documents are contained in a password protected zip file. Download the file to your computer, double-click on the downloaded file, or right-click and select 'open'. Click on 'extract all' and choose the location for the extracted files. Click 'extract' and you will be prompted to enter the password supplied in your email from the SRA. Enter password and click 'OK'.
