Documents for the SRA 'Introduction to Mixed Methods Research' online course, 2 December 2024
Course led by Dr Sarah Jasim & Dr Ruth Plackett
Note to Participants:
Dear all,
There’s not much prep work for you to do in advance of the course, but we do ask if you could find one mixed methods report or research paper in your field of research, and have it to hand for the afternoon session. We will use these examples to reflect on how they’re structured when we discuss writing up mixed methods research.
Please also find attached a table that we’ll ask you to fill out during the session, but doesn’t need to be completed in advance.
The slides will be sent to you after the course, and we have attached some readings and resources that you may wish to look at in advance or refer to later.
Please let us know if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing you on Monday 2 December!
Best wishes,
Dr Sarah Jasim & Dr Ruth Plackett
